Non-Invasive Prenatal Paternity Test
Powered by Vangenes Inc. in California
If you’re pregnant and have questions about the paternity of your unborn fetus. You don’t have to wait out your entire pregnancy before you can determine the father of your growing baby.
Non-Invasive Prenatal Paternity Test (NIPPT)is the most technologically advanced paternity test while pregnant. It involves taking a blood sample from the mother and a buccal swab or a discreet sample from the alleged father. After the samples are delivered to our test lab, the professional technicians will extract the cell free DNA from mother’s plasma and the alleged father’s DNA from the discreet samples. The cell free DNA from mother’s plasma also contains a certain proportion of the fetal DNA. Through the use of target DNA capture, library preparation and Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technology within a lot of state-of-the-art facilities, we sequence and output over 1.8 million DNA base pairs which cover more than 13,000 SNP loci from your submitted samples. Our bioinformatics scientist team statistically analyze and compare the sequencing data through high-performance automatic computing platform. The final report of your paternity test result will be return to you after our Ph.D level auditors review. Based on the principle of the technology, the accuracy rate of our prenatal paternity test is higher than 99.99%. The non-invasive test is 100% safe for the mother and baby.
A non-invasive prenatal paternity (NIPP) test is highly accurate when conducted properly. An accurate NIPP test should compare thousands of genomic data points, known as single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), in the fetal DNA present in the mother's bloodstream with those in the father's DNA. Vangenes is the only testing facility in the United States that offers a non-invasive prenatal paternity testing for less than $900 and tests thousands of genetic markers for accurate results.
When you are looking for a non-invasive fetal paternity test, you will find that there are other laboratories on the market that offer tests at a cheaper price than ours, but their laboratories are either not located in the United States, or their tests only test 21,25 or 27 genetic markers (STRs or Y-STRs). Although testing 20-30 genetic markers is the standard method for traditional DNA paternity testing, this method is highly accurate only after the baby is born. The content of fetal DNA in the mother's blood is very low, and only testing 20 to 30 genetic markers (STRs) is not enough to provide highly accurate Non-Invasive prenatal paternity test results. If you think the accuracy of the test is the most important, please avoid those laboratories, no
matter how convenient they design the sample collection process. If you have any questions, please communicate with our online customer service.
About Vangenes Inc.
Vangenes is an independently operated central laboratory focusing on the non-invasive prenatal paternity testing in California (California Corporate Number: C4277470). Vangenes was founded in 2013 to develop and commercialize diagnostic tests for reproductive health in China. Utilizing the advanced well-known platform of Next Generation Sequencing, the Vangenes team developed a high standard lab processes from sampling ,sequencing to data analysis on non-invasive prenatal DNA test (Related Research Publications by Vangenes ).
Vangenes has established two transnational central laboratories for Non-Invasive Prenatal Paternity Test (NIPPT) since 2015, one in China and one in the United States (Press Release: From NIPT to NIPPT). And Vangenes also holds a patent for non-invasive prenatal paternity test (see the granted patent)
In the past three years, Vangenes Labs have completed more than 20,000 NIPPT cases in global. With the help of many reliable local vendors, we are extending to provide our NIPPT services to people in need in more regions.
How to Choose a Legit Agency for Non-Invasive Prenatal Paternity Testing
If you are sure that you need the non-invasive prenatal paternity testing service, when you search on the Internet, you will find that there are many websites saying that they all provide this testing service. The way to distinguish between scammers and legitimate institutions is also very simple. First, "Location, Location, Location", look at their addresses. Because paternity testing needs to process blood samples, all testing experiments must be carried out in laboratories that are qualified to handle biohazards, then the laboratory must be in a hospital, clinical center or medical research building. You should avoid companies that can’t find the address on the website or the address is just a P.O. box or ordinary office building. In online sales, another common method of fraud is to forge some positive customer reviews to attract new customers. This also requires vigilance. Try to avoid paying by phone, which is also a simple way to prevent fraud. The easiest way is to find someone you know who has received basic medical training, whether it is a doctor, nurse or phlebotomist, to help you make a judgment,
If you can patiently check out some online forums discussing non-invasive prenatal paternity test, you can find some customer feedback about the accuracy of the test results they received. We have not received any customer complaints about incorrect test results since we started this test in the United States in 2019. You can compare more customer reviews of various laboratories that provide the test, and try to avoid laboratories where customers report incorrect test results.
Because this is a high-tech and complex testing, the development of this prenatal DNA testing technology is an accumulation process. A laboratory capable of providing this testing service should, at least like our company, have related academic publications, patents and related industry news reports. Of course, a further step is that this laboratory has also purchased various accreditation programs. But it should be noted that if you need to use the results of non-invasive prenatal paternity testing in court to establish parentage, you should not order this testing service yourself. The best way is to consult the local Child Support Agency or a family law attorney in your state first.
We have controlled our testing costs through the following methods, ensuring that the price of our basic standard testing service is close to $800, and allowing us to use the best DNA sequencing platforms to provide credible testing results:
Our R&D is completed in 2015, and the R&D expenditure has been withdrawn in the past years, so we no longer need to share R&D expenses in the price of the services we provide now.
And we tried our best to control our rental costs and the cost of equipment depreciation. The laboratory we are currently renting is a biotech incubator funded by the Los Angeles County and charitable donations (Related News Report). The rent and equipment depreciation costs are sponsored and subsidized. For instrument depreciation costs, we only need to be responsible for the warranty costs of Illumina DNA sequencing machine. It greatly reduces our operating costs.
We also need customers to pay for blood sample collection fee by themselves, so that we save the cost of distribution to the clinic agency.
Briefly, if you can wait until the child is born before doing a paternity test, usually through your local child support agency, you can get free DNA testing services. If you need non-invasive prenatal paternity testing services, have a limited budget, and can secure a clinic or medical professionals to do the blood work for you on your end, you can consider ordering our testing services. We'd like to help you find a proper clinic for blood work on your end if you have any issues on it.
Accuracy is our top priority. Significance of our work is to help you eliminate the fear of uncertainty. You trust us, We won't let you down.
